Sotto support
Email support@sotto-ai.co with any question or problem. During the beta, include what you were doing and roughly when; if Developer mode was on, paste the decision lines from the transcript.
Getting started
- Sign in. Sotto is in a private beta: create your account with the email address you were invited with, then confirm it from the email Sotto sends.
- Connect a TV. On iPhone or iPad, use AirPlay (Control Center → Screen Mirroring) to an Apple TV or AirPlay TV, or a USB-C to HDMI adapter. Sotto shows its own TV layout there, not a copy of the phone. On a Mac, click Show TV Window and move it to the TV or second display, then make it full screen.
- Start listening. Tap Listen. Cards appear as topics come up; deep dives appear when someone asks a question or the room keeps coming back to a topic.
- Voice commands. Say "Hey Virgil", then a command: "go deeper", "what about …", "look up …", "go back", "pin that", "clear", "pause", "resume". The same commands are buttons in the app.
- Lenses. Pick the room type (General, Podcast, Bible study, Book club, Trivia, Sports) or describe your own. The lens helps Sotto pick the right meaning; topics outside it still get cards.
Your account and data
- Usage. Settings shows about how many hours of use are left this month. During the beta, use is free up to a monthly allowance.
- Saved sessions. Transcripts and cards are saved only on your device. Delete them in Saved Sessions, or choose how long to keep them in Settings.
- Forgot your password? In Sotto, open Settings → Sign In → Forgot password?
- Delete your account. Settings → Account → Delete Account. Your sign-in and usage records are deleted from Sotto's server right away.
